HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST IN ELGIN, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Elgin, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the full-cycle processing of vendor invoices, ensuring all expenditures are legitimate, accurately coded, and paid on time. This role involves reconciling vendor statements, managing the internal approval workflow, and analyzing AP data to identify process bottlenecks. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $25/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Located in Elgin, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enter invoices received via email, mail, and EDI
  • Send out invoices for approval prior to payment
  • Ensure proper GL coding on all invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements with opens on account for Vendors
  • Work with Purchasing department to ensure credits are being received / applied
  • Process payments via checks and ACH when needed
  • Assist with providing Audit requests throughout year
  • Assist with Master Vendor File maintenance
  • Follow up on outstanding checks
  • Other duties as requested or assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (Preferably NetSuite)
  • Ability to process large amounts of invoices efficiently
  • 2–5 years in corporate accounting or an AP-specific role
  • Candidate expected to work out in the company’s headquarters location in Elgin, Illinois
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
