Job Description
- Starting at $17 to $18/hour

- 2nd and 3rd shift schedules available
- Located in Minooka, IL
- Conduct and record test procedures for products and raw materials (inspections, retention samples, weight checks, calibrations, etc.)
- Maintain and support QA testing equipment and documentation
- Provide QA-related instructions and communicate concerns as directed
- Observe warehouse operations and educate team members on QA standards when needed
- Assist in identifying and solving quality-related issues across departments
- Support implementation of quality programs and processes to improve efficiencies and reduce waste
- Learn, enforce, and ensure compliance with GMPs and SOPs
- Ensure product hold functions operate in compliance with quality systems
- Participate in safety topics, quality procedure updates, and assigned teams/programs
- Perform special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of materials
- Maintain time and testing records and report results daily/monthly
- Suggest QA process improvements and follow up on corrective actions
- Compile and analyze testing data to identify trends or recurring issues
- Review paperwork daily to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Participate in sample retention programs including evaluation and disposal
- Support warehouse cleanliness standards and audit preparedness
- Maintain positive working relationships with warehouse employees
- Assist with quarterly employee training, procedure training, and hands-on training as needed
- Maintain SOPs for active products and collaborate with production to verify updates
- Support production database updates in SAP under the supervision of QA leadership
- Ensure compliance with WCD/Trader Joe’s standards throughout the facility
- Perform additional duties as assigned by QA Management
- Ability to work in an environment where allergens may be present
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage priorities
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and early morning shifts as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and collaborate with others
- Previous warehouse, QA, or manufacturing experience preferred
