HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR (CHEESE) IN MINOOKA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Assurance Supervisor (Cheese) to join our team. This individual will oversee Quality Assurance procedures within Ready-to-Eat food manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $25/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Must be flexible to work any shift as needed, including overtime, evenings, and weekends
  • Located in Minooka, IL

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise Cheese QA team during processing operations
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, FSMA, HACCP, Risk-Based Preventive Controls, Allergen Control, and PCQI programs
  • Serve as point of contact for regulatory inspections (FDA, USDA, State, County, City Health)
  • Oversee sanitation and maintenance programs
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain third-party audit readiness
  • Complete audit discrepancies (including customer audits)
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports, including corrective actions and recalls
  • Investigate customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Train associates on food safety programs and departmental procedures
  • Ensure compliance with customer minimum vendor food safety requirements
  • Promote a positive team environment and lead diverse staff
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by QA and Cheese leadership

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of Food Quality Assurance experience
  • HACCP Certification required
  • SQF Practitioner, Food Defense Certification, and PCQI preferred
  • Allergen and GMP training preferred
  • College degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and audit processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), SAP, and WMS systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environment (32°F–36°F)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time during shift
  • Ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed
