HIRING IMMEDIATELY: DISPATCHER IN CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Dispatcher to join our team in City of Industry, CA. This individual will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, assigning drivers to trucks, and ensuring timely arrivals and departures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and experience using dispatch technology. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $18 to $27/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Full time schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Located in City of Industry, CA

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate overall scheduling and dispatch of delivery operations
  • Communicate with truck drivers using computers, phones, or two-way radios
  • Assign drivers to trucks and monitor arrivals and departures
  • Track driver progress along routes and update company records
  • Respond to customer inquiries, vendor questions, and driver concerns in a professional manner
  • Calculate miles for trucks and determine accurate travel and route times
  • Assist drivers in avoiding traffic delays and managing inclement weather
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with dispatch software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem-solve effectively
  • Team-oriented with a professional demeanor
