HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SMT MACHINE OPERATOR IN SOUTH ELGIN, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a SMT Machine Operator to join our team in South Elgin, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for setting up all required machines to run PCBs including the board loader, screen printer, pick and place, re-flow oven, and conveyors. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electronic component identification, and more listed below. Apply online and kickstart your career today!

Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $16.00 to $18.00 an hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm 
  • Monday through Friday, 4pm to 12:30am
  • Located in South Elgin, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and tears down component feeders for the SMT pick and place machines 
  • Stage set up feeders 
  • Assist operator in machine change-over
  • Pull parts from stockroom and overflow locations based on pick list

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electronic component identification
  • Requires 1+ years of SMT equipment operation
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office & keyboard typing
  • Basic understanding of IPC SMT Placement & Soldering Acceptability Standards
  • Ability to function well in a team environment
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
  • Capable to withstand long hours of standing
  • May be required to lift 50 lbs.
