Job Description

- 100% observation of product while line is running
- Reports any discrepancies of product to QA Lead
- Provides technical support to QA Lead
- Supports all recommended test procedures for products and raw materials
- Analyzes and assists the QA Lead in the resolution of production quality concerns
- Assists in the implementation of quality standards, programs and processes to improve operational efficiencies and reduce/eliminate production waste and HOLD product
- Assists QA Lead to train employees in SOP’s and ensure training effectiveness in application of job skills
- Participates in teams and programs such as HACCP Team, SQF Team, and others as assigned.
- Assists in the process of special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of product materials.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of new developments, technology and processes.
- Assists leads in maintaining time and testing records, reporting daily/monthly
- Monitors QA final acceptance, Product Hold and assists in changes to improve operating efficiency
- Assists in the implementation of manufacturing QA process improvements
- Compiles and analyzes test information to determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions
- Knowledge in test solutions, compounds, and reagents for used by sanitation personnel.
- Assists QA Lead in tests and analyzes sample products, adjusting formulas and processes based on results.
- Assists in sanitation of production areas as needed
- Maintain a good working relationship with Production employees
- Additional duties as requested by QA Management
- Knowledge of DC operations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and write)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures.
