Job Description
- $57,000 - $62,000/year (bonus opportunity)

- 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Ruther Glen, VA
- Research and maintain state-level food code regulations, including requirements for distribution demo crew members, weights and measures, retail unit pricing, and general public health programs.
- Review, follow up on, and file public health inspection reports.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of cheese and finished goods inventory.
- Oversee and maintain the QA program to uphold product quality standards.
- Monitor dock temperatures and ensure product quality throughout the distribution center.
- Ensure current and accurate PSIs are uploaded for each item document file.
- Input relevant PSI information into the allergen database.
- Track and post annual third-party vendor audits.
- Identify non-compliant vendors and coordinate follow-up with the Quality Assurance team.
- Track daily warehouse product rejections and maintain records in the QA shared file.
- Maintain the FDA vendor tracking sheet and submit it quarterly to the compliance team.
- Assist with special projects within the Quality Assurance department
- High school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant certifications and/or experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a standing or seated position for extended periods.
- Must be able to navigate all areas of a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a distribution center.
- Ability to safely operate heavy moving equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a fast-paced environment
- Strong data entry and computer proficiency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate and obtain certification on warehouse equipment.
- Effective verbal communication skills to resolve issues across departments.
- Understanding of standard distribution practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and effectively lead a diverse workforce.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or other work-related events.
