HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FORKLIFT MECHANIC IN JOLIET, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Crown forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient operation throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic, strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently, and must be a self-starter and highly trusted, as this role is unsupervised on 2nd shift. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $30.00/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday- Friday (No Weekends)
  • Located in Joliet, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of Crown forklifts (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems)
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues with forklifts
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports
  • Work independently on the 2nd shift to keep forklifts operational and minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic
  • Proficient in working on Crown forklifts, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in a cold storage environment is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter and highly trusted, as this role is unsupervised on 2nd shift
