HIRING IMMEDIATELY: CDL CLASS A DRIVER IN BROWNSBURG, IN
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Brownsburg, Indiana. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of mail over various distances, ensuring timely delivery to and from facilities. Drivers must comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies while maintaining accurate logs and records. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, valid Class A CDL with required endorsements, minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience, and much more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $27/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 5:00am Report  / 9:30am Report (Depends on Routes)
  • Located in Brownsburg, Indiana
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate 26’ box trucks with lift gates and tractor-trailers for in-state and out-of-state deliveries
  • Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Ensure secure and timely delivery of mail while following DOT regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate DOT logs, DVIRs, reports, and delivery receipts
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any defects
  • Communicate delivery issues, delays, or changes to dispatch and supervisors
  • Report accidents, incidents, or near misses immediately and accurately
  • Obtain required delivery signatures and verify receipt
  • Safely operate in various road and weather conditions
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in required training
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
  • Clean MVR with no major violations or accidents in the past 3–5 years
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to pass background checks, MVR review, drug and alcohol screening, and clearinghouse requirements
  • Proficient English communication per FMCSA requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Ability to read, write, and follow delivery instructions
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Prolonged sitting while driving and standing during loading/unloading
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
