Job Description
- Starting at $85,000-$95,000/year

- Monday – Friday 1st Shift, Weekends as needed
- Located in Irving, Texas
- Assist with the planning and implementation of additions, removals, and major modifications to local IT infrastructure
- Implement and maintain network security controls at the local level in accordance with established security standards
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of site IT infrastructure and provide direction to IT support staff as needed
- Manage and maintain local area network (LAN) operations
- Manage and support upgrades to telecommunication systems at both regional and local levels
- Oversee all telephone system changes, including routing and workstation assignments
- Supervise the administration and maintenance of computer hardware and software used for training programs and provide additional support when required
- Oversee system troubleshooting, backups, archiving, and disaster recovery efforts; provide advanced technical support when necessary
- Collaborate with project teams to implement internal systems and technology initiatives
- Serve as the final escalation point for issues related to warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Oversee help desk operations at both regional and local levels
- Respond to and resolve escalated help desk issues in a timely manner
- Manage the administration and maintenance of operational tracking software
- Engage with internal stakeholders at all organizational levels to resolve IT-related issues and provide timely solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors and manage local procurement of hardware and software
- Oversee purchasing of IT-related hardware, software, and supplies at the regional or local level
- Ensure responsible management and safeguarding of technology assets
- Design, prepare, and distribute daily and monthly reports as required by leadership
- Maintain overall responsibility for sanitation and safety practices within warehouse technology areas
- Travel as required based on operational needs, initiatives, and project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and proactively manage warehouse technology programs
- Advanced knowledge of computer networking, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and provide high-level tier technical support
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Working knowledge of logistics operations, electronic data interchange (EDI), and technical troubleshooting
- College-level training or a minimum of four to five years of experience in systems or IT management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to safely work around heavy moving equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts in a fast-paced setting
