Job Description
- Starting at $20/hour

- Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Located in Wood Dale, Illinois
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, freight forwarders, and airline staff on bookings, rates, schedules, and shipment status
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries by phone and email
- Provide proactive shipment updates and manage service recovery in case of delays or disruptions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Process bookings in airline cargo systems, ensuring accurate allocations of flights, weights, and volumes
- Verify and process all required cargo documents (Air Waybills, export declarations, etc.) per IATA and local regulations
- Coordinate special cargo (dangerous goods, perishables, live animals) in compliance with airline and regulatory standards
- Work with King’s Ops Team to track shipments from origin to destination, assisting with resolving issues as they arise
- Maintain compliance with IATA, TSA, and airline safety/security requirements
- Keep accurate, up-to-date data in airline and GSA systems
- 1–3 years of customer service experience (air cargo, airline, or freight forwarding preferred)
- Knowledge of IATA cargo procedures and airline operations is strongly desired
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and cargo booking systems
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail; ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus (not required)
