Job Description
Department: Logistics
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
To deliver accurate, timely, and professional support that strengthens customer relationships, ensures seamless order fulfillment, and upholds the organization’s reputation for service excellence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and delivery requirements.
- Research and resolve customer order issues, delivery concerns, and performance discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Verify customer quotes, including pricing, MOQs, and purchasing requirements while cross-referencing internal data.
- Maintain accurate customer “ship-to” locations and part-number cross-references within the ERP system.
- Enter customer orders and validate delivery schedules for accuracy.
- Upload and maintain customer material schedules on customer portals as required.
- Review customer forecasts, identify changes, and update internal databases.
- Proactively ensure data accuracy within the ERP system and coordinate with IT for system-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support to leadership with additional administrative or operational projects as assigned.
- Collaborate as an active team member to achieve departmental goals.
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and respect in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and partners.
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry across various systems.
- Input, access, and retrieve information using the ERP and other required platforms.
- Sit for extended periods, with occasional standing, bending, or walking to access files or supplies.
- Occasionally lift and carry materials up to 15 lbs.
- Read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Work independently while maintaining strong organization and time-management skills.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- 2–3 years of customer service experience, ideally in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Familiarity with order entry processes and basic accounting concepts.
- Strong typing and data-entry skills with high attention to detail.
- ERP experience (SAP or similar) strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
