HIRING IMMEDIATELY: INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR IN MINOOKA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team in Minooka, IL. This individual will be responsible for leading day-to-day Inventory Control operations on 2nd shift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse leadership experience, WMS system knowledge, and the ability to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $16/hour
  • 2nd shift schedule available
  • Located in Minooka, IL

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations within the Inventory Control department
  • Ensure safety, production, and sanitation standards are met
  • Create new pick locations and manage item re-profiling
  • Run and analyze inventory reports (Pick Hits, Lost in Cycle Count, Expiration Management, Adjustments)
  • Process Transfer Orders (TO’s), RTV’s (Return to Vendor), and Dispositions
  • Perform root cause analysis and discrepancy research
  • Conduct PO discrepancy investigations
  • Operate forklift equipment as needed
  • Perform QA checks and verify code dates
  • Report employee errors and complete incident documentation
  • Maintain inventory integrity
  • Assist the Control Center
  • Assign duties and support scheduling and evaluations of employees
  • Support warehouse supervisors and associates with policies and procedures
  • Follow up on customer concerns and discrepancy resolutions
  • Promote a positive team environment
  • Remain flexible to support business needs

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in warehouse supervision or inventory control
  • High level of computer and WMS system literacy
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems independently
  • Wholesale or distribution experience preferred
  • Some college coursework preferred but not required with relevant experience
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work in a distribution center environment
