HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SANITATION SUPERVISOR IN FRANKLIN, KY

This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing sanitation team members to ensure a clean, organized, and fully sanitized production facility. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $57,500/year
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • M-F 1st Shift, Weekends as needed
  • Located in Franklin, Kentucky

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure completion, documentation, and maintenance of all sanitation activities in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Lead by example by working alongside the sanitation team to maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary production environment.
  • Verify that all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to ensure food safety and product quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all production areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces are organized, clean, free of debris, and in proper working condition.
  • Monitor sanitation performance, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Participate in and support daily departmental start-up meetings, promoting attention to detail and continuous process improvement.
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations established by the QA Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including proper chemical handling and required training.
  • Communicate sanitation standards and expectations clearly with team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Minimize in-house equipment damage through team awareness, training, and accountability
  • Verify completion of all required sanitation documentation per established SOPs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand procedure manuals, including chemical mixing and cleaning procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments
  • Ability to calculate chemical concentrations, percentages, and apply basic mathematical concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and early morning shifts
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations professionally
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous sanitation or food production experience preferred; supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout and access all areas of a warehouse or production environment
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Ability to safely work around heavy machinery and material-handling equipment (including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts) in a fast-paced environment
