Job Description

- Daily Production Leadership
- Oversee the initial setup of the processing line to ensure a smooth start to each shift.
- Conduct morning roll call and pre‑operational inspections, including ATP and allergen swabbing.
- Manage ingredient rotation using system tools to relocate product from storage to the pick line.
- Keep production flowing at an optimal pace—most of your day is spent orchestrating people, product, and process.
- Maintain strict accuracy in the production of finished goods.
- Verify incoming raw materials and ensure Batch Control Records (BCRs) are complete.
- Report ingredient violations to Quality Assurance.
- Ensure teams follow exact recipes and use correct ingredients for each SKU.
- Keep assembly lines fully supplied with ingredients throughout the shift.
- Minimize Work in Process (WIP) at the end of each production day.
- Conduct ongoing weight checks with Line QA to confirm finished product accuracy.
- Verify completion of QA line duties, including check weights and metal detector validations.
- Store finished goods according to strict temperature standards.
- Sanitation, Changeovers & Compliance
- Lead SKU changeovers, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment before the next run.
- Perform daily inspections to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of tables, scales, utensils, floors, trench drains, and workstations.
- Inspect employee PPE and personal hygiene practices, including handwashing, hairnet usage, and smock control.
- Ability to work in areas with 72 inches of headroom.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (32–36°F) and varying ambient temperatures.
- Ability to stand for up to 2 hours at a time during an 8‑hour shift.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and varied schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and resilience when working with challenging tasks or individuals.
