Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This individual will be responsible for payroll processes, computing wages, and ensuring that employees’ salaries are paid correctly, on schedule, and in compliance with government regulations. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $72,619 - $81,094/year 
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 1st shift M-F, some flexibility can be provided, 8am-5pm 
  • Located in Dallas, Texas
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for all US employees, including salaried, hourly and one-off payments
  • Provides information and answers employee questions about payroll-related matters
  • Collects, reviews, and calculates wages from timesheets
  • Calculates payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
  • Maintains payroll records including quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
  • Prepares and issues earnings statements, paychecks, and manages direct deposits
  • Maintains employee records
  • Collaboration with HR to verify employee data and resolve any inconsistencies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient with payroll software, ADP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations
  • 3-5 years of related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
