Job Description
- Starting at $36.06 an hour

- Monday-Friday 5:30AM to 3:30PM
- Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Lead and manage the inventory control team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of all inventory data. Perform regular cycle counts, full physical inventories, and spot checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies, such as overages, shortages, or damage, in a timely manner. Work closely with receiving and shipping teams to identify and rectify issues
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of the WMS to track inventory movements, adjustments, and updates. Train staff on the effective use of the system
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of products, especially those requiring cold storage, to maintain product integrity and minimize damage or spoilage
- Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and receiving departments to maintain accurate stock levels and support the overall efficiency of warehouse operations
- Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes and implement strategies to enhance accuracy and productivity
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and team performance. Provide insights and data to management to assist in operational planning
- Ensure the team adheres to all safety protocols, particularly in handling cold storage products. Promote a safe working environment and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in cold storage or food logistics is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and processes
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to work in cold storage environments with temperatures as low as -20°F.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
