HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RIPENING FORECAST ANALYST IN BLOOMFIELD, CT
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Ripening Forecast Analyst to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. The Ripening Forecaster assists the Ripening Manager in responsibilities for the efficient operation of the ripening facility within the warehouse. They will work closely with customers and vendors to ensure optimal fulfillment of orders with products that meet customer standards, and in accordance to company procedures. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $22.83/hour

  • Located in Bloomfield, CT

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Utilize forecasting models based on information from customers, historical demand, and business capacity.
  • Supervise the continuous ripening cycle to meet demand and maintain product quality and shelf-life.
  • Conduct required inbound inspections to ensure product meets criteria prior to the ripening process.
  • Work closely with the Ripening Manager to communicate with the customer and Distribution Center any anticipated changes in demand or supply.
  • Oversee the proper sanitation in the area.
  • Oversee the proper Preventive Maintenance program for rooms and equipment.
  • Track and maintain records of any customer feedback, with corrective actions, as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Functional knowledge of the Banana Ripening Process
  • Understanding of all parts of Banana quality and maturation.
  • Knowledge of the banana supply chain.
  • Strong Planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the banana supply chain.
  • Knowledge in MS Office, Excel. WMS (GOLD) system literacy preferred.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent
  • written and verbal communication skills.
