HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN WOODRIDGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Woodridge, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for all general building maintenance and repairs, trouble shoot and perform repairs on manufacturing machinery as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years experience performing general building maintenance/repair, must have working knowledge and experience in light plumbing, carpentry, and electrical, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $28/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 6pm to 6am Rotating Shift
  • Located in Woodridge, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifies and presents potential efficiency and or cost saving measures related to manufacturing and building operations.
  • Provides and ensures general supplies are available and accessible to cleaning staff. Occasionally refills supplies in rest rooms and lunch areas as required between cleaning service visits. Performs light cleaning duties as required.
  • Collaborates with staff and department managers to ensure we are providing adequate support and solutions that support business needs.
  • Supplies proper requisitions and completes any paperwork associated with the position.
  • Identifies and performs necessary repairs and maintenance to building exterior and interior for function, aesthetic and safe operation of manufacturing facilities.
  • Defines and ensures standard daily work is performed to expectation.
  • Collaborate and assist as directed to gain additional knowledge of site specific equipment maintenance.
  • Provides training and shares knowledge as necessary for the growth of staff; fosters and encourages an environment for the team to succeed.
  • Schedules, performs, and directs repair and maintenance required on building to ensure continuous operation of the facility.
  • Ensures that workspace, machinery and tools are clean, organized and meet all safety requirements.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience performing general building maintenance/repair.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience in light plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
  • Must have basic computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • This position has special vision requirements: Close vision: clear vision at 20 inches or less. Color vision: ability to identify and distinguish colors.
