Job Description

- Located in Waukegan, Illinois
- Coordinate with demand planners to ensure forecasts are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Manage planning approval workflows and communications for items within the 4-week planning lock period.
- Maintain forward-looking visibility into campaigns and business priorities through a rolling 6-week outlook.
- Support planners with daily planning activities, issue resolution, and prioritization efforts.
- Monitor out-of-resource (OOR) items, production order entry, and key planning milestones to ensure compliance with planning standards.
- Track production order execution and proactively escalate risks or delays.
- Support high-priority planning initiatives and campaign execution efforts.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze demand planning reports to support forecasting and operational decision-making.
- Create additional reporting as needed, including:
- Forecast accuracy analysis
- Sales versus forecast reporting
- Trend analysis
- Risk identification reporting
- Use data analysis to identify operational risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to demand planning and forecasting activities.
- Support process standardization initiatives to improve consistency and audit readiness.
- Assist with documentation and continuous improvement efforts across planning functions.
- Partner closely with planning, purchasing, production, and supply chain teams to support operational goals.
- Communicate planning updates, risks, and priorities clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
- 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain coordination, planning support, or a related role preferred.
- Experience supporting forecasting processes, campaign planning, or demand planning execution within manufacturing, CPG, or distribution environments.
- Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and supply chain operations.
- Experience with inventory management, procurement workflows, and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems and interlinked databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to identify operational risks through shortage reporting and planning analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education
