HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FACILITY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST IN GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our client in Glendale Heights, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $24/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday
Located in Glendale Heights, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Maintain grounds- trash pickup, clean cigarette receptacles, winter weather upkeep
Handles leaf and snow removal as needed
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
Adheres to company policies and procedures
Identifies repair and maintenance projects requiring the assistance of contractors or vendors; participates in estimates and evaluations of project costs; monitors work of vendors or contractors; assists in the review of new construction or remodel plans to assure compliance with facility maintenance standards.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
At least two (2) years of work experience performing maintenance and repairs in a commercial facility.
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Familiarity with the operation of basic hand tools
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions
Knowledge of practices, techniques, materials, and equipment used in the maintenance, construction, and repair of facilities
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
