HIRING IMMEDIATELY: EXPERIENCED POWDER COATER IN WOOD DALE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Powder Coater to join our client in Wood Dale, IL. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the powder coating production process, and applying paint as required while ensuring work meets all quality standards. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $25/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm or 2:30 pm to 11 pm
Located in Wood Dale, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Apply powder paint as required ensuring thickness, hardness, and adhesion meet quality standards
Work with blueprints, color charts, and paint chips
Check oven temperature and chemical composition within cleaning spray stations and drying ovens before painting
Check the first piece run
Set up and safely operate all production equipment while maintaining set quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations
Make needed adjustments to the painting process to ensure quality parts are produced at all times
Track powder usage for all production runs
Clean equipment as needed before changeover or at the end of the shift
Complete required in-process inspection, repair/correct any defect, and resolve any quality issues with other departments as required
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Powder Coater
Experience using a variety of powder coating equipment and procedures
Experience in using spray equipment and similar equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.)
Deftness and attention to detail
Proficient in English
Able to undergo a background check, drug test, and participate in the E-Verify upon employment offer
