Job Description

- Located in Palmdale, California
- Oversee the initial setup of the production line.
- Conduct morning roll call and pre-operational inspections of the processing area, including ATP (Authorization to Produce) and allergen swabbing.
- Manage ingredient rotation using the system program to transfer products from storage to the pick line.
- Coordinate and maintain the flow of production to optimize output.
- Focus on the accurate production of finished goods and adherence to specifications.
- Verify incoming raw materials and ensure Batch Control Records (BCR) are properly maintained.
- Report any ingredient discrepancies or violations to the Quality Assurance team.
- Ensure team follows recipes accurately for each SKU and uses correct ingredients.
- Maintain continuous supply of ingredients to assembly lines.
- Minimize leftover Work in Process (WIP) at the end of each production day.
- Perform frequent weight checks in coordination with Line QA to verify finished product specifications.
- Oversee QA line activities, including metal detector checks and weight verifications.
- Ensure finished goods are stored within required temperature parameters.
- Supervise SKU changeovers, including proper cleaning and sanitizing before beginning a new run.
- Conduct daily inspections of cleaning and sanitation practices for all production areas and equipment.
- Monitor employee compliance with PPE usage and hygiene protocols, including proper handwashing, hairnets, and smock use.
- Able to work in refrigerated environments (32–36°F) and varying ambient temperatures.
- Able to work in areas with a minimum of 72 inches of headroom.
- Stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours continuously) during an 8-hour shift.
- May be required to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail; able to meet deadlines and manage challenging tasks or personnel.
