Pay, Schedule, and Location
- $85,000-$90,000/year Based on experience
- Full-Time
- Excellent benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision
- Located in Los Angeles, California
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support employees and managers, address workplace concerns, and assist with investigations and performance management
- Administer HR policies, maintain employee records, process terminations, and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate new hire orientation, onboarding, training initiatives, and performance review processes
- Support benefits, open enrollment, payroll-related matters, and leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and Workers’ Compensation
- Support wage and hour audits and ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR standards
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, administrative efficiency, and employee support
- Support company events, volunteer initiatives, employee engagement, and a positive workplace environment
- Provide timely responses to HR inquiries and communicate effectively with employees and leadership
- Monitor retention and attendance trends and support initiatives to improve employee retention and performance
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1+ year of HR Generalist experience supporting a high-volume workforce
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's license required
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, Workers’ Compensation, or other leave programs preferred
- HR experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred
