Job Description

- Located in Rancho Cordova, California
- Prepare and provide daily volume reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports to the Accounting Analyst Supervisor
- Monitor Distribution Center purchasing activities to ensure established purchase order procedures are followed
- Complete three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices as part of the invoice payment process
- Order office supplies and products for the Distribution Center and serve as the primary point of contact for related vendors
- Facilitate the standardization of Distribution Center operational reports in accordance with Administrative Office directives and reporting requirements
- Review staffing agency invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
- Work directly with the Accounting Analyst Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager, and all levels of Distribution Center management
- Complete extensive data entry projects accurately and within established deadlines
- Support payroll-related functions using Paychex software
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
- College coursework in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred
- Previous payroll experience is required
- Experience using Paychex payroll software is preferred
- Experience working within a Distribution Center or similar operational environment is beneficial
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business software
- Ability to work effectively with accounting, payroll, reporting, and data-management systems
- Ability to interact professionally with employees and management at all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with and support a diverse workforce
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of Distribution Center operations
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adhere to strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and operational information
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs as required
- Ability to work within a Distribution Center environment
