HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PAYROLL SPECIALIST IN LACEY, WA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Payroll Coordinator to support daily payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of employee and staffing agency payroll. This individual will be responsible for managing timekeeping and attendance records, supporting bi-weekly payroll processing, auditing invoices and payroll adjustments, preparing labor cost reports, and assisting employees with payroll-related questions and concerns. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with payroll, timekeeping, invoices, or related administrative processes. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $23/hour, paid weekly
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Full time schedule
  • Located in Lacey, WA

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily staffing agency attendance across the Service Center
  • Audit and submit weekly Time & Attendance (T&A) reports and records for executive approval
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll using Paychex and consistently meet payroll submission deadlines
  • Calculate and verify puller incentive payments for accuracy
  • Prepare weekly staffing agency and labor cost reports for Accounting
  • Review, research, and approve agency PARs and payroll adjustments
  • Audit weekly agency and labor invoices for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as a customer service resource for employee payroll questions, disputes, and administrative requests
  • Research payroll discrepancies and work with appropriate teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate payroll and attendance records
  • Support the payroll department with additional daily tasks and administrative responsibilities as needed

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous payroll, timekeeping, accounting, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to review financial information, invoices, and payroll records for accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred
  • Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to accuracy and customer service
