HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MECHANIC IN BELCAMP, MD
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Mechanic to join our team in Belcamp, MD. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial machinery, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $27.57 - $33.69/hour + $1.69 shift differential
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) and 3rd shift (11:00pm – 7:00am), Monday – Friday
  • Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Located in Belcamp, MD

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on machinery
  • Set up, adjust, and change machine parts and tooling as needed
  • Diagnose issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Work with variable speed drive motors and direct drive motors
  • Use micrometers and measuring tools for precision work
  • Complete documentation for production, downtime, and maintenance
  • Maintain safe working conditions and follow all safety protocols (LOTO, PPE)
  • Assist with plant projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization in work areas

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience working on close tolerance manufacturing equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with cams, clutches, and braking systems
  • Knowledge of hand tools and industrial equipment
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and complete production and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be safety-conscious and able to work in varying temperatures and loud environments
  • Must be flexible to work any shift as needed
