Job Description

- Using our and/or our client’s software to manage the incoming and outgoing orders and transfers.
- Assign the daily workload for the DC employees according to the existing service and quality standards.
- Complete all associated shipping and customs documents for truckload & courier shipments, ensuring timely shipping.
- Operate within a high-paced environment and professional atmosphere, which requires constant adjustment of priorities and workloads.
- May be responsible for providing instructions to drivers.
- Once cross-trained, provide support for other WPC’s in their absence.
- Work in collaboration with others within the organization to ensure customer needs are met and issues with orders/transfers are addressed in a timely basis.
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with clients making sure to communicate on a regular basis to ensure their requirements are being met.
- Assist in customer complaint investigations and processes.
- Evenly distribute workloads to maintain a positive level of picker/employee activity.
- Organize and file all paperwork daily to ensure ease of access.
- Will be responsible for completing select monthly reports.
- Follow all safety and security regulations and company guidelines.
- Complete all safety training within the specified timeframe, applying all appropriate actions.
- Utilize all tools and equipment as trained to do so, stopping when unsafe
- Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function of the job.

- High School Education/GED and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, prior experience within inventory, wave planning or customer service helpful.
- Skills in planning, organizing, and juggling multiple priorities are required.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions. Attention to detail is helpful.
- Ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism (both verbal and in writing).
- Ability to operate office machinery including use of computer systems (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows) and learn customer software systems.
- Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
