Job Title: North American Customer Relationship Manager
Location: Franklin, NY
Salary: 70K-80K plus benefits

Position Overview

The Customer Relationship Manager plays a critical role in developing, strengthening, and retaining a dedicated book of business across North America. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts—ensuring seamless communication, proactive problem solving, and consistent delivery of value. This role is ideal for an outgoing, inquisitive logistics professional with freight?forwarding experience, strong account management skills, and a proven ability to upsell and cross sell. You’ll identify client needs, respond quickly to inquiries, and offer strategic recommendations that elevate customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client relationship management — maintain strong communication and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Needs assessment — identify client challenges and propose tailored logistics solutions
  • Upselling & cross selling — expand service usage within your book of business
  • Account retention — strengthen long term partnerships through proactive engagement
  • Product knowledge — develop expertise across all service offerings to support client needs
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in 3PL freight forwarding
  • Experience in ocean, air, ground, brokerage, or warehousing considered an asset
  • College diploma in business or related field; bachelor’s degree an asset
  • CIFFA certification considered an advantage
  • Ability to travel locally as needed
