With 35–50% travel, you’ll be hands-on across multiple sites, partnering directly with Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, and Technology leaders to elevate system performance and drive continuous improvement.

Job Title: Senior Logistics Systems Analyst

Job Purpose
The Logistics Portal Super User serves as the organization’s primary subject matter expert for logistics technology platforms. This role blends engineering-minded problem solving with operational insight and curiosity. You will analyze how systems behave, challenge assumptions, uncover root causes, and design practical solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and service across the network.
Key Responsibilities
System Expertise & Support
- Serve as the primary expert for all logistics portal functionality.
- Support end users with troubleshooting, navigation, and issue resolution.
- Investigate portal defects, data discrepancies, and workflow gaps.
- Partner with development teams to escalate and resolve technical issues.
- Validate enhancements and participate in UAT for new releases.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
- Analyze logistics workflows and recommend system enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Challenge legacy processes and drive innovation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor portal performance metrics and user adoption.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Build reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure alignment with operational realities.
Training & Change Management
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Conduct onboarding and refresher training for users.
- Communicate new functionality and process updates.
- Promote best practices and consistent system utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, Product, Vendors, and Technology teams.
- Translate business challenges into technical requirements.
- Support rollout of new features and strategic technology initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for logistics technology decisions.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, supply chain systems, or technology support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, automation).
- Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP, or logistics platforms.
- Ability to interpret operational and technical information.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Background in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Supply Chain Engineering.
- Experience with system implementations or software development projects.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.
- Project management experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to traverse warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely work around heavy moving equipment in a fast-paced distribution setting.
