This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Pay, Schedule, and Location

- Located in Bloomingdale, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.) to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment daily to ensure safe operation
- Handle products in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing damage and ensuring product integrity
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are correctly loaded and secured
- Transport materials between storage and work areas
- Use WMS to accurately scan, pick, and stage products according to customer orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating WMS with real-time data on product locations and quantities
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the supervisor
- Utilize TMS for tracking inbound and outbound shipments
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing
- Update shipment status and documentation in the TMS
- Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to prevent accidents and injuries
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
- Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably on the 2nd shift
- Proficiency in using TMS and WMS
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
