Job Description
- $85,000 - $90,000/annually based on experience
- Full Time

- Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Address employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as needed
- Partner with managers on performance management and workplace issues
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper personnel records
- Assist with training, development, and performance review processes
- Provide guidance on benefits, open enrollment, and employee leave programs
- Manage leave processes, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and Workers’ Compensation
- Assist with payroll matters, benefit deductions, and benefits administration
- Support wage and hour audits and HR compliance
- Process employee terminations and related documentation
- Coordinate facility communications and performance updates
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency
- Escalate complex HR matters to senior HR leadership when needed
- Support volunteer, social, fundraising, and employee engagement initiatives
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and ethical work environment
- Respond to HR inquiries within 24 hours
- Monitor retention and attendance trends and support improvement initiatives
- Ensure performance reviews are completed accurately and on schedule
- 1+ year of HR Generalist experience supporting a high-volume workforce
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, Workers’ Compensation, and other leave programs preferred
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred
