Job Description

- Assist the General Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager with overseeing warehouse schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts
- Support the development and implementation of project procedures used to verify equipment, project-related tasks, and warehouse maintenance inventories
- Assist with maintaining effective processes for system controls, documentation, and recordkeeping
- Support all aspects of employee safety, general training, and compliance with established workplace procedures
- Manage and coordinate vendor activities to ensure timely resolution of project, operational, and client-related issues
- Maintain and update project plans as needed, including communicating with individuals and departments responsible for various project requirements
- Coordinate project releases and updates, including expediting approvals and communicating schedule changes and project status to customers
- Coordinate project plans and updates between logistics, warehouse operations, vendors, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Monitor project timelines and proactively address issues that could impact on-time performance or project completion
- Ensure project-related software, systems, documentation, and processes are accurately utilized by employees assigned to project responsibilities
- Proactively prepare and provide customers with project reports, status updates, schedules, and other relevant information throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist management with tracking project progress and ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments, customers, vendors, and management throughout all stages of assigned projects
- 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience supporting maintenance, project management, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operations preferred
- Knowledge of maintenance-related products, services, equipment, and operational processes is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to coordinate and lead a diverse workforce
- Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, customers, warehouse personnel, maintenance teams, and management
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods
- Must be able to walk through and access all areas of a warehouse or distribution center
- Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures
- Must be able to safely work around heavy and moving equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and maintenance environment
