Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Assembler to join our client in Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for using a variety of basic manual assembly techniques, as well as manual and automatic hand tools to assemble a limited variety of products to meet production standards. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $16.38/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift: 6 am to 2 pm, 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday
Located in Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble a limited variety of products in accordance with written and verbal work instructions.
Identify components required to complete assembly of products on work order.
Draw components maintained in production area as required.
Notify supervisor of part shortages and visually inspect component parts for defects prior to assembly.
Utilize basic manual assembly techniques, as well as manual tools and automatic hand tools.
Check alignment and fit of component parts and verify proper operation of products.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience in manual assembly or production environment preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
Basic understanding of mechanical components and assembly techniques.
Proficiency in using manual and automatic hand tools for assembly tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to visually inspect component parts for defects.
