Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Fabricator to join our client in Franklin Park, IL. This role is essential to the fabrication of low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets, contributing to the manufacture of products that satisfy customer orders. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Pay:
$21 per hour, paid weekly
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities
Process various types of steel, including Cold Roll, Galvanized, Galvannel, and Stainless
Recognize and work with different copper and steel thicknesses and gauges
Cut copper and sheet steel on a shear (48x96)
Operate forming machinery for bending copper and steel, including Hydraulic Brake Press (Trumpf 50/50 and Trumpf B130)
Operate shearing machinery for glastic and steel, including Hydraulic Shear (Cincinnati Shear)
Punch holes in copper and steel using Trumpf 20/20, Boschert CU-PROFI, and Stripit 750
Wash, dry, and prepare steel parts for painting
Debur and grind steel parts using hand tools
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources
Ensure proper use of protective equipment and tools based on tasks
Follow control document procedures
Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job
Requirements and Qualifications
Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
Proficient in using shop equipment and hand tools
Strong mechanical skills
Ability to convert fractions to decimal equivalents and vice versa
Experience with Turret Brake Press or Press Brake is required
Basic computer skills
Must be a team player with good attendance and a positive attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with others
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and conversing fluently, is required
