This individual will be responsible for operating polishing and buffing machines, including abrasive belt sanders, rotary buffing machines, and pipe polishing machines. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $17.17/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift: 6 am to 2 pm, 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday
Located in Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Polish and buff a variety of faucet and valve components.
Operate polishing and buffing machines, including abrasive belt sanders, rotary buffing machines, and pipe polishing machines.
Set up equipment and machinery to properly perform the polishing and buffing operation.
Clean parts as they are produced and visually inspect parts after processing for defects.
Requirements and Qualifications
Work is performed standing or seated at a polishing machine and includes some walking.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable with a significant amount of force to parts as they are manipulated against an abrasive belt or wheel.
Must be able to hold parts securely and apply force over the course of a full day.
Must be able to lift tote pans weighing up to 35 lbs on a frequent basis.
