Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $26 to $35/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Night shift: 7 pm to 7 am
Located in Scranton, PA
Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:
Operating, changing over, setting, repairing, and improving on fillers; packaging equipment, combining equipment, and providing support for the workings of auxiliary equipment
Maintain logs, and record labor, materials, and equipment used
Responsible for calibrating and checking instruments
Respond quickly to emergencies
Abreast of the utilization of every tool, which may include drills, mechanical saws, sanders, and buffers
Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, and perform repairs on them when necessary
Wire machines and electrical panels in line with prints
Weld or operate a miller
Assemble gas circuits from prints
Light machining
Troubleshooting: identify a problem and proffer logical solutions to them.
Browse blueprints and lots of schematics, and use various tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical components.
Experience and Education:
1 year of experience as an electro-mechanic in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of AC/DC control circuits
Experience with VFD and motor controls
Ability to read, understand & interpret electrical, pneumatic & Hydraulic schematics
Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
Ability to work overtime as needed
Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. The employee may reach above shoulder height or below the waist or lift as required to store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required.
