Pay, Schedule, and Location:
Starting salary: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM start
Location: Olive Branch, MS
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial sewing machines and equipment
Set up equipment, ensuring correct settings per procedures
Maintain logs and records for each equipment repair to track and reduce downtime
Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment per defined schedules
Execute emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance as needed
Set up machinery for scheduled production runs
Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Inspect sewing line machines regularly to ensure functionality
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks
Adhere to OSHA safety and health regulations
Maintain parts and tools inventory for the shop
Communicate with sewers to address equipment issues proactively
Update log sheets for inventory changes, particularly for thread usage
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience with industrial sewing machines, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repair skills
Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders accurately
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Organizational skills for maintaining logs, inventory, and a clean work area
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
