Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Mechanical Assembler to join our client in Saint Charles, IL. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of mechanical assembly tasks, such as using elevation drawings to assemble parts and pieces in the manufacturing process. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm schedule
Located in Saint Charles, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
Read tape measure
Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
Team player, able to work within a team environment
Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources
Operate a forklift, with proper training
Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used based on the task
Follow control document procedures
Knowledge and understanding of the SAI Employee Handbook
Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job
Requirements and Qualifications
Must know electrical symbols and schematics
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
Excellent mechanical skills
Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
Perform basic computer skills
Must be a team player and have good attendance
Must take direction, follow instructions, and work with others with a positive attitude
Must be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English
