This individual will be responsible for directing the work of a group of production employees and performing the same work as the group. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Pay: Starting at $22 to $25/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 am to 4 pm
Location: Lake Zurich, IL

Duties and Responsibilities
Consult with Department Supervisor to establish work priorities and plan tasks for the production group
Assign daily tasks and priorities to production employees within the group
Train group members on safe and correct work procedures and required performance
Provide assistance in resolving on-the-job technical problems
Arrange for necessary tools and supplies, utilizing vendors' supply catalogs and training manuals
Inspect, coordinate, and record work performed by the group
Reconcile manufacturer orders and create production shop packets and manufacturer order labels
Recommend and consult with Production Supervisor on work assignments and staffing
Assume supervisory duties in the absence of the Production Supervisor
Relieve group members during breaks and maintain safety supplies in the work area
Conduct cycle counts for forklift drivers and determine daily work activities and priorities
Support and comply with SQF standard practices and policies, including audits and documentation
Provide effective recommendations on disciplinary matters and employment termination
Measure coil after production runs, evaluate production operations for efficiency, and oversee the repack area
Provide hourly case counts to the supervisor and maintain communication between employees and the supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
Ability to lead employees and delegate work assignments
Ability to read, write clearly, and perform basic mathematical calculations
Good communication skills
Intermediate computer skills
No attendance or performance issues
Willingness to work overtime
