HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL

This individual will be responsible for implementing a continuous improvement culture and preparing three warehouse locations for the SQF audit. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $25 to $29/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Located in Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Implements continuous improvement culture and prepares three warehouse locations for the SQF audit.
Updates and maintains GMP standards to pass the annual certification.
Conduct and assist external quality auditors in all food safety audits to ensure quality and safety policies comply with GMPs
Review existing processes and product specifications to identify the need for improvement.
Develop HACCP and critical control points.
Plan, executed, and oversaw product inspection for conformance to specifications and deliverables.
Oversee tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.
Introduce compliance document tracking software.
Work with domestic and international suppliers.
Hire and train the QA Team.
Investigate reports of quality issues and ensure resolution by guidelines and customer requirements.
Develop or update procedures for investigation and documentation of product complaints.
Provide continuous and effective training and support to the quality assurance team.
Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor’s Degree, SQF Practitioner
Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
Ability to interact with all levels of employees.
Superb computer skills.
Bi-lingual in Spanish
Physical Demands:

Long periods of using computers.
Frequent periods of being on the production floor.
