This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all popcorn products made in this facility meet the highest quality standards from production to packaging. This role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring the production process, and conducting final product checks to ensure consistency, freshness, and safety for consumption. The QC Specialist will focus on maintaining quality throughout all stages of production and packaging without the use of chemicals, ensuring product quality, and compliance with food safety regulations. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $18/hour, paid weekly

Located in Aurora, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials, such as popcorn kernels and other ingredients, to ensure they meet quality standards
Monitor the production process to ensure proper popcorn popping, seasoning, and packaging procedures are followed
Perform visual and sensory inspections of popcorn products, checking for defects
Ensure that products are consistently packaged according to safety and quality standards
Record and document inspection results, including any non-conformances, product defects, or deviations from standard procedures
Identify and report any quality or safety issues and work with production teams to implement corrective actions
Assist with routine maintenance checks on production equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and does not affect product quality
Conduct regular audits of the warehouse environment to ensure cleanliness and organization standards are met
Monitor inventory for expired products or stock that does not meet quality criteria and coordinate with warehouse staff for proper disposal
Collaborate with production and packaging teams to improve product quality, production processes, and efficiency
