Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Slitter Machine Assistant to join our client in West Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for prepare labels for finished rolls and make cores to operator specifications for production orders. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $18/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift: 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday
Located in West Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare labels for finished rolls
Make cores to operator specifications for production orders
Prepare areas with skid and skid flooring for roll protection
Move skids to slitter for efficient stacking of rolls
Move rolls from slitter to skid in an organized manner
Verify pick lists and move skids to shipping prep areas
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements and Qualifications
Steel toe or similar foot protection is required at all times
Company-furnished back support
Hearing protection must be worn at all times
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Willingness to work as part of a team
