HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FREIGHT CLERK IN WILMINGTON, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for aFreight Clerkto join our client inWilmington, IL. This role is perfect for someone with experience in intermodal and domestic logistics, ensuring smooth handling of shipments and customer service.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • $18 per hour, paid weekly

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

  • Located in Wilmington, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle customer orders with efficiency and attention to detail

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain shipment schedules

  • Trace containers (loads) across various railroads

  • Dispatch truckers and monitor both inbound and outbound freight, domestic and international

  • Ensure all shipments meet deadlines and customer specifications

  • Communicate clearly with customers and logistics partners regarding shipment status

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in intermodal and domestic logistics preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Proficiency with data entry and managing shipment schedules

  • Ability to trace loads, dispatch truckers, and monitor freight efficiently
