Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Auburndale, FL
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor various packaging machines and supporting equipment per operating manuals.
Respond to alarms or emergency stoppages, troubleshooting and correcting issues.
Replace film rolls efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor material inventories, reporting shortages as necessary.
Verify dates, item codes, and batch information against incoming paperwork.
Oversee production staff to maintain operational efficiency and assist on the line when needed.
Maintain sanitation standards for machines and the facility.
Perform preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
1-3 years of experience working on an automated packaging line.
Knowledge of packaging equipment, including heat tunnels, inkjet coding, conveyors, and tray erectors.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance for packaging equipment.
Strong math and communication skills.
Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
