This individual will be responsible for equipment maintenance, repairing, troubleshooting, and installation, with a focus on ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $30 to $35/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 5 pm to 2:30 am
Located in Lake Zurich, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
Order parts, supplies, and equipment
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, machinery, and equipment
Assist other workers with specific tasks as requested
Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures
Support the plant’s food safety initiatives by completing required training and complying with required practices
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Electrical and/or mechanical certifications may be required; location-specific
Willingness to work and follow instructions
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Strong equipment maintenance, repairing, troubleshooting, and installation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good communication skills
