HIRING IMMEDIATELY: NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING HELPER IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Helper to join our client in Elk Grove Village, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing tasks under the direction of certified Level II personnel. The ideal candidate will obtain a High school diploma or GED and have a quality focused, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging at $18/hour
- 1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Unpack parts, document the as-received condition, and prepare orders for inspection using pre-determined criteria
- Upon completion of processing, perform final visual inspection and carefully package parts in according to customer requirements
- Maintain proper housekeeping while adhering to applicable chemical, environmental and
- safety procedures
- Track orders and labor times using clients internal software
- Provide cross functional support to other departments within the NDT group, as needed
- Take part in company-wide training and continuous improvement opportunities toward quality assurance initiatives, company objectives and peripheral projects
- Must be a quality focused, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently complete tasks with consistency, and accuracy
- The NDT inspection is a controlled process, therefore attention to detail and care in handling customer parts and test equipment is required
- Understand the clients turnaround schedule and align orders to meet customer demands
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Experience in a quality, manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and have the strength to handle parts ranging in size and weight.
