Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Payroll Specialist to join our client in Minooka, IL. This individual will be responsible for preparing staff agency and weekly payroll cost report for Admin-Accounting for weekly reporting needs, as well as reviewing and submitting to DC management for approval for and attendance reports (T&As) weekly. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $19/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Located in Minooka, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews staff agency daily attendance for Service Center
Review and submit to DC management for approval for and attendance reports (T&As) weekly
Oversees puller incentives to ensure accuracy
Processes bi-weekly payroll before the Paychex deadline
Prepares staff agency and weekly payroll cost report for Admin-Accounting for weekly reporting needs
Provides customer services to employees’ payroll inquiries and requests
Reviews, researches, and approves agency PAR and payroll action requests
Audits weekly agency and labor-related invoices
Assist with other duties assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
3 years experience with Payroll or similar background preferred
Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of distribution center operations
Strong sense of teamwork
Able to adhere to strict deadlines
