Pay, Schedule, and Location:
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Weekly pay
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Picking: Use cherry picker forklift to retrieve items from shelves and prepare for shipment
Order Fulfillment: Package and label items accurately for shipping
Inventory Management: Track inventory changes, perform regular stock checks, and update warehouse management systems
Staff Supervision: Train, manage, and lead warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe task completion
Safety Oversight: Inspect the warehouse for hazards and ensure adherence to safety rules
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment
Supply Management: Monitor warehouse supplies and order new equipment or items as needed
Communication: Coordinate with suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth operations
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience: Previous warehouse and order-picking experience required; leadership experience preferred
Forklift Operation: Proficiency in cherry picker and other warehouse forklifts
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure order accuracy
Communication Skills: Effective communication for team coordination and supplier/customer interaction
Availability: Full-time hours with consistent weekday schedule
Screening: Must pass background check, drug test, and E-Verify
