Job Title: Logistics Sales Representative
Work Arrangement: In-office only
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay Range: $85,000 – $105,000 per year (base salary)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in logistics, including ocean freight, domestic transportation, and warehousing, to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships. This role focuses on expanding our client base and delivering customized logistics solutions to meet customer needs. The position reports to a General Manager.
Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new business opportunities by prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their logistics needs.
Develop and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to secure profitable deals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in logistics sales, including ocean freight, domestic transportation, and warehousing.
Strong ability to acquire new customers and establish pipelines directly with shippers or other key decision-makers.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is preferred.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing network of shippers and contacts in the logistics industry.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Working Environment:
This position requires some domestic travel (10–20%) and occasional international travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Years of Experience:
More than 3 years of experience as a sales representative in the logistics industry.
Language Skills:
English (read, write, speak). Must be able to express well in English both in written and spoken form.
